About Us

M.P. Sindhu Bhawan Trust was established on 16 June 1981, on the birthday of the last emperor of Sindh Sindhupati Maharaj Daharsen, in Bhopal, the heart of Madhya Pradesh. In which a trust was formed by including the people of all the major cities of the state. All the trustees of the trust are continuously providing their services selflessly.

Main objective of the Trust: To connect lakhs of Sindhis of the state with the mainstream. The Trust is playing an important role in giving them information about their culture, literature and civilization and in solving the social and government problems of the people living in the state. The main objective is to continuously work for the promotion of Sindhi language, literature, art and culture and to make the society aware about its activities from time to time and to achieve this objective, M.P. Sindhu Bhavan Trust is continuously working.

M.P. With the efforts of Sindhu Bhawan Trust On 7 September 1982, the government issued an order to M.P. Sindhi Sahitya Academy was formed and on 11 August 1988, the state government constituted a high level Sindhi Welfare Committee to resolve the problems of the Sindhis living in the state, which was reconstituted again on 25 April 2003, in which the Trust played an important role. Sindhi Kalyan Samiti visited the entire state of Madhya Pradesh and collected information about the social problems and pending cases of the people, mainly related to Gumtis and leases of land and houses, and reached every district and got the solution of almost 50 percent of the problems immediately.

To solve the remaining problems of Madhya Pradesh. Efforts are continuing from the government. Got the Sindhi community represented in the Linguistic Minority High Level Committee constituted by the Central Government for the development of Sindhi language, literature, art and culture, which visited Madhya Pradesh and got teachers of Sindhi subjects appointed in Sindhi language schools and helped in providing Sindhi text books Efforts were made by the government.

 

For the development of Sindhi language, the Government of India constituted an independent Sindhi Development Board in 1994, whose chairman was Late Minister of the Union Human Resource Development Ministry Kunwar was Arjun Singh ji. Two trustees of Madhya Pradesh Sindhu Bhavan Trust were members in the said development board. Later, the same development board was constituted by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India as National Council for Promotion of Sindhi Language, in which two respected trustees of the Trust were also members and had a major stake in its activities.
